Dear Customers

We hereby inform you that the customs system has presented intermittency for the clearance of import goods by truck, which has caused a delay in the time of departure of units to the bonded warehouse and could also generate delays in the entry of your units to this container terminal.

It is worth mentioning that Contecon has been coordinating with the customs authority and ASIPONA in order to attend all scheduled appointments. It is also important to mention that Customs has sent the following notification: "Due to the intermittence in the system called "Modelo de Administración Tributaria de Comercio Exterior" (MATCE) that has been occurring in the 50 Customs offices in the country, it is hereby authorized to present before the automated selection mechanism, the SIMPLIFIED PEDIMENTO PRINTING, accompanied by the DODA, in order to give continuity to the foreign trade operations".

The above applies to Road Import and Export operations ONLY for September 18 and 19 of this year.
