1. CONTECON MANZANILLO, S.A. DE C.V. (CONTECON), a legal entity, with address at Blvd. Miguel de la Madrid Hurtado s/n., Col. Las Brisas Primera Sección, TEC II Zona Norte, C.P. 28239, Manzanillo, Colima, is the person responsible for the processing of your personal data. CONTECON recognises the importance of the proper treatment of your personal data, and therefore informs you of this PRIVACY NOTICE, which complements any other simplified privacy notices that CONTECON has made available to you and is supplementary in all matters not expressly referred to in such notices.

The area responsible at CONTECON for the processing of your personal data is the Finance Department through C.P. 2.- The personal data we collect from you will be used for the following purposes:

  • i. Create a holder profile. Your profile will be used to manage access permissions to CONTECON facilities.

  • ii. Register you as a supplier or customer and manage the relationship you have or wish to establish with CONTECON.

  • iii. Coordinate administrative actions related to the performance of its obligations to CONTECON, e.g. accounting or tax obligations.

  • iv. If required, transfer your data to other companies of the group and/or to the Administración Portuaria Integral de Manzanillo.

  • v. Carrying out administrative procedures with service providers and internal areas of CONTECON.

  • vi. Comply with safety standards.

  • vii. Request quotations for products or services;

  • viii. Follow up on requests for our services, quotations and notices.

  • ix. Assess financial quality of customers and suppliers.

  • x. Discuss with corporate on quotations, tenders and negotiations of significant value.

  • xi. Negotiate products or services.

  • xii. Processing payments.

3. To carry out the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, we collect your personal data by telephone, through our website, by email or in person. The data we obtain may include, among others: name, address, telephone, email, RFC, payment information (account number, interbank account number, registration with the SAT), data contained in the voter's credential, CURP, and Employer Registration with the Mexican Social Security Institute.

Likewise, we inform you that in accordance with article 8 of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals, we will require your express consent for the processing of your personal financial or patrimonial data, therefore, at the time of collecting such data, it will be necessary for you to express your consent to the processing of such data through the delivery of this document duly signed.

4. We inform you that your personal data may be shared within and outside the country with the following persons, companies, organisations and authorities other than us, for the following purposes:

5. You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, what we use it for and the conditions of use we make of it. It is also your right to request the correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete, to have it removed from our records or databases when you consider that it is not being used in accordance with the principles, duties and obligations under applicable law, as well as to object to the use of your personal data for specific purposes (ARCO Rights).

To obtain additional information regarding the procedure and requirements for the exercise of ARCO rights, you may call the Personal Data Department, who will process requests for the exercise of these rights and address any questions you may have regarding the processing of your information.

6. You may revoke the consent given to CONTECON to process your personal data. However, you should bear in mind that CONTECON may not always be able to comply with your request or terminate the use of your personal data immediately, as CONTECON may be required by law to continue using your personal data. You should also bear in mind that, for certain purposes, revocation of your consent will prevent CONTECON from continuing to provide its services.

To revoke your consent to CONTECON, you must submit a request to the Personal Data Department at the address and/or e-mail address indicated above.

For further information regarding the procedure and requirements for the revocation of your consent, you may contact the Personal Data Department, who will process your request and answer any questions you may have.

7. To limit the use or disclosure of your personal information we offer the following means:

  • (i) Registration in the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising, which is in charge of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency, in order that your personal data are not used to receive advertising or promotions of companies or goods or services. For more information on this register, you can consult the PROFECO website, or contact the agency directly.

  • (ii) By contacting CONTECON's Personal Data Department to ensure that your personal data are not processed by us for marketing, advertising or commercial prospecting purposes. For further information, please contact the Personal Data Department.

8. CONTECON has developed administrative, physical and technical security measures for the protection of your personal data in order to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your information. When we share your information with third parties, we require them to have the necessary security measures in place to protect your personal data.

9. Any changes to this Privacy Notice will be made available to the public through the Personal Data Department, and will be sent to you by e-mail to the last address on file with us.
