Contecon Manzanillo Invests in Customer Service Platform

Contecon takes a new step in technology and innovation in the area of customer service, which is part of a process of continuous improvement to reduce waiting times and attention to the requests of the port terminal's customers.

Contecon Manzanillo incorporated its SalesForce service, a system that provides, among other things, a customer relationship manager (CRM), a state-of-the-art software that gathers information through electronic customer service channels, detecting customer needs and channeling them to the respective customer service areas.

This platform is part of Contecon Manzanillo's US$230 million investment plan 2022-2024, in which nearly US$200 thousand have been allocated to make the customer service process more efficient.

Customs agencies, businessmen and the general public interested in Contecon's services will be able to make inquiries quickly and efficiently thanks to the renovation of the customer service infrastructure that expanded the e-mail network, improving delivery capacity.

The new customer service e-mails that Contecon offers are the following:

  • The e-mail atencion@contecon.mxwhere you can make various queries about your daily operations, operation of the portal, programming doubts, complaints, suggestions.
  • The e-mail acreditacion@contecon.mx is used to request support for badges, entry permits and blocked operators.
  • The mail cobranza@contecon.mx where you can review the blockades of containers, companies and customs agencies.
  • The mailing facturaciones@contecon.mx provides support to provide an estimate of storage, pending invoices, re-invoicing, among others.

This system allows companies to streamline service times, and because it is located in the cloud, all employees have a complete view of their customer from any device, anywhere in the world.

To operate this new customer service system, between May and August 2022, the port terminal's customer service personnel were trained and the team of specialized executives was expanded.

Contecon changed its switchboard to improve telephone service; now the service is provided at 314-9800-555, where the team is available from 9:00 to 21:00 hours from Monday to Friday and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 19:00 hours.

Through new technical and human infrastructure, Contecon Manzanillo accelerates customer service times to continue connecting and moving Mexico.
