Closure of T1 Guadalajara Bonded Warehouse (1)

Dear Customers

In response to communication 0C00071-2023 - Closure of the T1 Guadalajara Bonded Enclosure, Grupo Mexico has issued a new communication stating the following:

  • For those containers that were modulated on or before November 27th (within the validity of the enclosure) they will be able to conclude their transit in the Guadalajara bonded warehouse.
  • Once the transits have arrived and concluded in Guadalajara, customers will have a period of 5 working days to clear their goods and remove them from the bonded warehouse.
  • Containers with a modified pedimento dated November 28 or later may no longer be brought into the Guadalajara bonded warehouse and the following options will be available to close their transits:

  1. Rectify the customs declaration by changing the destination to any other customs office.
  2. Rectify the pedimento changing Manzanillo as final destination and close its transit there.

Containers with modulated pedimentos as of November 28 cannot be loaded by train and must change the customs office where they will be dispatched or dispatched in Manzanillo.

Consider that the above may increase the length of stay of these containers with rail departure mode, please take the appropriate measures to avoid affecting your operations.
